You should be able to use the stock 258 CJ mounts.

I had always thought they were the same motor.

Motor is same. Bolt holes for motor mount are inverted. Mounts are totally differ t

Can you post some pics of what you are looking at? So you are saying you can't get the CJ mount to bolt to the motor?

Correct. Go anywhere and look at motor mounts for
'83 258 and '90 258. I think YJ frame is wider

That is why I said to use CJ motor mounts
