Hopefully I'm putting this in the right section....

I just bought a 73 CJ5 and the previous owner put a flex fan on it, and i hate the noise. Wanting to switch it back to a clutch style, but parts stores are showing two different options....thermo controlled or centrifigally controlled. anyone know what the right one is? Thank you

I would thing the thermo one is what you want.
I do suggest you take some measurements, to be sure of clearance of the fan from the radiator. You want about 1" from the from of the fan to the radiator.

are they selling you the whole thing? I thought that they only sold the clutch it self. The thermo would most likely have come from an air conditioning jeep, which I would go with as well since it works of temperature of the radiator not the speed of the motor :chug:

Definitely go with 'Thermo' and as stated before be sure you are close to the rad. for best cooling.
