I drilled the holes in the fiberglass tub floor to install the seats that came with my Pile O' Parts project and discovered that the passenger seat sits about 1" higher than the driver side. The seats are out of an 85 Mustang. The previous owner used the mustang sliders on both the driver and passenger seats, and bolted them to the Jeep risers with angle iron brackets. I seem to recall from my old jeep back in the 90's that the passenger seat didn't have a slider and that the bracket or riser was a little taller because of this. Is this right, or am I suffering from a fuzzy memory??? Either way, I'll most likely be removing the passenger slider and bolting the seat directly to the riser bracket to lower it to the same hight as the driver side that I plan to retain the slider on.
