Have a problem ! I ordered a set of rugged ridge windshield hinges for my '77' CJ7 and they do not line up properly.
Anybody else have this problem and where can I get some that will work ?

Chinese hinges I guess. Send em back and try just using Kentrol hinges like you can buy from Q-tech or 4WD Hdw. I have never had any hinges not work right, provided thay were for the right year. But then, I never ordered Rugged Ridge hinges before.

I won't mention the name of the site I plucked these from, but they were supposedly for 76-86 CJ's. I am going to send these back and start over. Where is a good source for the Kentrol hinges ?

Thanks,

OOp's sorry, question has already been answered.

i have some hinges off a 77 CJ5 that i would be willing to part with pretty cheep... there a brownish color off of my jeep. i replaced my windshield frame with a Yj frame that i got from a guy and it had everything all he did was unbolt it from his jeep (on the body side) and gave it to me

only thing wrong with them is there a little stiff from lack of movement but they do move i put some oil in the hole and there moving allot better already

let me know if your interested.
