I have a question about the front turn signal lights. Mine are dual element, and the "running" lights are working fine, but the turn signal ( other element ) does not blink, although the rears blink fine in turn signal mode and the emergency flashers as well. Another thing, when the right turn signal is on, the right front fender marker light blinks, but the left one does not when I turn the left signal on. Before I tear into this issue, I was wondering if someone else has already been there and done that.....in hopes I can save some time on straightening this issue out. Thanks

I hate the good old blinker problem. The good news is you can seperate the head light and blinker harness from the rest of the jeep at the fuse block. It will sound a little bit intimidating but i would pull it out, take off what ever shetching is still on it and trace every inch looking for breaks and wires shorting. Jeep liked to use crimp terminals and duct tape to make splices.. theres a chance you have 2 splices exposed and contacting each other. You can do it with that part of the harness inthe jeep but I tend to get better results when its out. Also make sure you check your grounds too.

Thanks! I'm sure I can do the work, but I guess I was trying to find an easy and quik way out....lol. There isnt any voltage on the wires to the second element ( turn signal element ) on the bulbs. I will have to trace those wires back and find the break. Cant be a ground or the parking lights wouldn't work. When I resolve the issue, I'll post my findings on here as I would guess its a fairly common problem.
