AMC 360 Manifold Vacuum Location

I need to tap into a manifold vacuum line to hook up my power brakes. Is the hole in the center with the pipe plug the correct place? If it is, what type of adapter has the threads and then the vacuum line barbs? TIA

I think you should try to find an inlet closer to the power booster.
