Another cool feature is the droid will also work on wifi, and when it does it uses less battery power
The BB Storm 2 uses Wifi... That is the phone I traded in...
Ok that sold me lol i hate BLACKBERRYS! they pieces of junk imho
BB are really meant for professional usage - that is where they excel! On the enterprise level - there is no phone that can compare! Nothing beats a BB using an exchange server - unfortunately many buy a BB thinking it will make a great 'home' phone and then they are disappointed...
Example - I was in Germany and was able to be up dated in real time with a meeting that was going on in the states via my BB, they do serve and have their purposes...
Android so far -
Good Things
1) Best graphics I have ever seen
2) Blazingly fast!
3) External apps galore! Many are free and the ones that are not are just a few $$. All apps are viewable from the phone and you can read customer reviews,
4) The touch screen just works, no BS and no funky clicking.
5) The WEB browser does what a browser should do! Every site I have visited renders perfectly.
6) The unlock code is cool - drag a symbol on the phone to unlock it!
Bad things
1) I hate the email app! If you have multiple accounts (as I do for my web sites), the email push sucks! This is where the BB stands out, BUT, by forwarding all my emails to my gmail account I was able to circumvent this problem...
2) NO VOICE DIALING WHEN CONNECTED TO MY BLUE TOOTH CAR DEVICE! WTF?

Crazy how this is not available! The Droid has voice recognition - but I can't use it in my truck????

(hoping an app is created to do this)
3) Google maps is OK, it's free and works - but - give me back my Garmin... Hell Garmin has an Android phone... I want my Garmin GPS back!
4) Battery life sucks when the phone is running full tilt, turn off GPS and wifi when not in use and then is is decent.

But, there is a free app that will do this for you (as long as you download and install it)...
5) Expensive - If I didn't have such a great plan through my employer, I would have never traded up??? The Droid cost me $30 on a one year plan...

Retail cost was $269 with a $100 rebate - way too much money! (IMHO)
