I need to install a seat slider so my girlfriend can reach the pedals. Can anyone recommend one, best place to get it? I'm guessing it will raise the seat a little, has anyone done this? Thanks ( I did search "seat slider" before posting)

I believe I just ordered from quadratec. Seems like I did some drilling for some reason but that doesn't make sense now. Yes, the seat will be elevated with the slider. Again, I think the thickness of the slider itself. In the beginning I just switched out the 2 seats:)

I put in a Bestop slider and it worked pretty good, but had to remove it since it put me up another 1 5/8", The oem sliders, not as tall, seemed to work o.k. also. I went to a fixed position.

I have the OEM sliders in my 1980 CJ5 . Gives plenty of room should my wife choose to want to learn to drive it. (I think there is 4-5" of room to move it forward?)

The OEM sliders can be had plenty enough on Ebay and Craig's List for less than $30-40 and would be worth a shot to try!:chug:

Your driver's seat should have a slider on it unless the seat's been replaced.
