Looking to get a CJ
Just wondering how many folks belong to a 4x4 club ?

The only "official" club I was a member of was the Swamp Stompers.

When two of my three daughters got involved with travel soccer, Vardar of Michigan. Free weekends became non-existent. In fact, they have me busy 6 days a week with practice and games. 11 1/2 months a year.

Out of respect to the club and it`s bylaws. I dropped out and have only shirt tail involvement. Which I truly am appreciative of. They are a great group of guys and gals.

How about you folks ?

I would like to, but there are none around here. Lots of 4x4s, but no official clubs I can find.
I will get with a club when we move to the city (hopefully) sometime this year.

I've been a member of a 4x4 club since 1976.
When I lived in Indiana I belonged to the Midnight Mud Runners and also the Indiana 4 wheel drive assoc.
I now live in Ohio and my local club is the Ohio River four wheelers, I also belong to, Southern Four Wheel Drive Assoc, United Four Wheel Drive Assoc., and the Blue Ribbon Coalition.
I enjoy being in a club with other people that enjoy wheel'n and working to keep the few trails we have left open.

:chug: to you Dog.
Right now the kids are #1 priority. But dang it, sure do miss playing dirty on the weekends. The junk gets used a lot but all road miles.

Its all family oriented here (read "good ol' boy network). Every time I try and get some guys out wheelin', they never show. But they show up at work with mud on the trucks all the time?
Eh...I've been here 3 years with nearly nothing to show for it, its time for a change.

I gave up on clubs, no one ever wanted to show up to play.

That doesn't sound like a fun group. why have a club if your not going to wheel together.

I tried to get involved in wa, ca, ga, tx, nm, finally just gave and do the family thing!

I hear you Brock. I belong to a club (at one time, both clubs in this area) but end up 95% of the time just wheeling with my son (has his own Jeep) and maybe a couple close friends.

Between my schedule and the style of wheeling I like to do, easier to just wheel by ourselves.

Nah...Its just that nobody wants to wheel with Brock! J/K

I've belonged to clubs but I couldn't stand the drama of the people who wanted to run them clashing with the people who had different ideas.

Since I don't have a rig I can wheel right now I don't.

I may found a 4x4 "not a club" here. Just a forum where people can post and a section where anyone can organize a wheeling run. No meetings. No dues. No organization. Just wheeling runs when people feel like it and a place to post up pictures and video.
