Does any one have experience with the Auto meter 3391 volt meter and the "easy three wire installation"?? They sent the wrong installation sheet with it and although I know just about everything about mechanical gauges I have no clue about the "three wire" volt meter. there is a ground terminal, an S terminal and an I terminal.
The original has a hot and ground.:wtf:

Three wires are for ground, 12 volts and the dash light.
I think the S wire is 12 volts (sense),
I is the dash light (indicator light)

It has it's own grounded light . the three terminals are for the meter and have nothing to do with the light.:wtf:

How about a pic.:D

the top stud is ground, the left is S and the right is I. the funny hole at the top is for the light which is independent of everything else. these pictures are sad but I hope they will do.

I looked there.
an expression about both hands and a mirror comes to mind.

I found it on the Autometer WEB Site under Tech Instructions. :) 4th from the bottom.

Don't you just hate it when you look and can't find it, but someone else says "it's right there":D
