Help, I'm installing a new top, everything seems easy so far......now the problem. The horizontal assembly doesn't look like it fits in the door strike I mounted to the windshield frame. It says to roll it up until it snaps into place.....can someone explain or send me a close up photo? Thanks in advance....

Good luck,
I have a CJ7 and for some reason couldn't get the framework to fit properly. I hope that you have much better luck!

I figured it out, On the top of the door strike it has the piece that the horizontal assembly clips into. Obviously at the factory someone riveted these on the wrong sides. I'll drill the rivets out switch them and re-rivet......should fit perfectly.

I had the same issue, the plastic parts were popriveted to the wrong sides. They sent me a new set free of charge.

Kept the Spare and already used one of them to replace a broken one.
