Bikini Top with Doors

I only have a Bikini Top and love it.
Recently ran through the 'know you own a CJ' thread when I (laughed and) realized a lot are doing the same. I don't take it to work if there is a good chance of rain because here in South Texas, probably like in Florida, there's never a gentle rain. Of course I occasionally get caught. Wondering if I had soft doors for those occasions how much it would help keep my left side dry. I read that there is a 3" gap at the top and I know I'd still get wet but wondering how much it helps?
Don't want a soft top.
Also, I'm guessing the two-piece soft doors pack up easy in the back?
Thanks,
Neuner

. I'm lucky because if it wasn't for her ability to drop them off and pick them up from school, my gig would probably be up. But OT. Glad to hear it helps. It would be more so for the driving/sideways rain.
