Hey guys I got a 360 on the stand for my 76 CJ5 with a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and a T-18 tranny. Was wondering if anybody ever used the M.O.R.E bomb proof motor mounts for there swap.I figured for 276.00 and it comes with the frame and engine mounts and it claims it's a direct bolt in.Was wondering if it's that easy to install or not or if I am better off finding stock mounts from ebay or something.Any feedback would be appreciated.
1977 CJ 7; Amc 401 .30 over, Howell TBI, modified Dana 20 with Terra Low gears and twin sticks, NV 4500 5-speed, modified Dana 30 and Amc 20 both with 4.56 gears (narrow track), ARB air lockers front and rear, SSBC rear disc brake conversion, MICO Brake park brake, Navaho brake booster/ master cylinder, PowerTank CO2 tank.
I use these mounts on my 77 CJ7 with an AMC 401. They did bolt right in. I like them on this engine over stock mounts, you can drop oil pan straight down. Factory mounts you could not.
