I went from a Procomp 2.5" spring lift with Procomp shocks to a Rough Country 4" spring lift with longer Procomp shocks. Developed a bad bounciness on the trail or on Interstate bridges/bumps.

I adjusted the shocks from middle to firm to soft and the bounce is still too much regardless.

Are the leaf springs a cheaper model and too springy? I do have a heavy Hanson bumper and 9K steel cable winch maybe compounding the problem.

As a general rule more arch more bounce. Comparing your ride from 2.5 to 4 inch springs would be unfair to any spring manufacturer regardless of quality or cost. Are your shocks gas charged? They tend too just make things firmer in my experience compared to hydraulic units.

The shocks are gas charged. I guess you are right because the suspension feels like all leaf spring and zero shock stopping the bounce.
