I've seen all the YJ conversion posts and still have this question- why can't I use the CJ MC? Saves the hassle of moving the brake lines to the other side. If the bore and stroke of the MC are the same?

Thanks for any input.

Jim

i used the cj master cylinder. i had to open the mounting holes a little bit, but it fit together ok

I went a different route and put in a Navaho brake booster, master cylinder setup. Since I installed a disc conversion on the rear, needed more whoa. Works good, just more $$$!

Thanks for the info. I couldn't understand why if the bore and stroke were similar why would you would go to the trouble to move the brake lines.

Next question - what about the air cleaner?

Thanks again.

Jim

Hi,

I have the YJ booster and plan on using the CJ MC. I'll adjust the pushrod as needed.

I still need to know how to handle the air cleaner clearance issue.

I'd like to replace the stock setup and need to know the best method. I've found K&N don't offer a solution so I need your help.

Thanks

Jim
