I thought I saw a thread about this before but I cant find it. New master cylinder and now my brake lights stay on. Non-power system. What am I looking for?

Found the issue. The metal bar wasnt pushing in the switch all the way.

Did you bend the bar or thread the switch in?? I hated that switch so bad I put an hydraulic switch in the brake line. :D

My wife's 77 does the same thing. I have to raise the brake switch up to activate the switch! Easy fix, yes, but I would like the brake pedal lower! I'm already cramped in the thing. I'll see how it feels when I cut the fender and move the seat back. :D
