I ended up with a Warn after considering about 5 different ones. I only ended up with Warn because I found one on Craigslist new for very little money. It's worked out very well so far and was a breeze to install at the same time I installed my Warn winch and Warn winch mount. Not trying to indorse Warn but by buying all 3 for the front end it all fit together with no effort. Not to say any of the others woundn't work just as well. Click below to enlarge and see bumper.

My main concern with warn is the W cut in it allows mud and water into places.

Not really anywhere that mud won't get anyway. The cutouts are out on the ends with nothing really behind them, at least on My CJ they are. I actually considered putting lights behind them.

Those bumpers are really nice, but just too spendy for me. I had mine made to my speks, and the cost was only $145 out the door.

The whole back of the bumper is open, the W in it doesn't matter.

I also have the warn, as Zuni , I have the warn winch plate and guard so it all fit together nice.
As with everything else buy or build what makes you happy.:D

I had a warn on a 4x4 once, never had problems with the W.
I really liked the quality of that bumper and warn winches were bolt ins.

Anyone have pics of the Hanson on their CJ? I am also struggling with all the options available for front bumpers/winches!

Thanks!

Here are a few photos of my Jeep with Hanson Bumpers Front & Rear as well as Hanson Rockers. I really like the look of Hanson the Best!
