After getting the stumble out of my MC 2100 took it out do some climbing and now when I get it going up a step hill it want to stall out on me how do you know if it is flooding or starving.

wonder if your float isnt adjusted right. i have had my jeep on steep hill with my mc2100 and had no problems. it was way better than the stock carb.

^^^ that was my first thought too

It's not going to run out of gas on a hill unless your tank is on empty, and it's a long hill. My money is on your float level being too high, causing it to dump fuel down the intake on steep hills. You can set the float level by just removing the top of the carb. It only takes a few minutes.

Took it out Sunday and tried climbing up some steep rock and it was flooding out. had to hold the pedal down to the floor to get it to start. What is a good setting for the float.
