Carter BBD 2 bbl Stepper Motor Question

I have a 1980 CJ5 with stock Carter BBD 2 bbl carburator. On this model there is a dash pot and the standart electric choke.No stepper motor,nor the wiring system for this stepper thing and the idle stop solenoid.
Now I got a second carburetor with a stepper motor and an electric /electronic idle stop solenoid on it.
So far as I can see the stepper motor has two pins which plunge into the venturi cluster at the bottom side.
My question is;
Do I have to cancel something about this stepper motor such as removing those pins,or do I need to adjust them to the full forward position or push them all the way down to seat them back?
Or should I simply leave this stepper motor as it is and just install the carburetor forgetting about the stepper motor?
Or do I have to get a good , clean carburetor without a stepper motor and electric idle stop solenoid,but a similar stock one with only a dash pot?
