Centra Pod?

Does anyone know where to get something like this for a reasonable price? 60 dollars for a crappy piece of plastic is a tad outrageous. 30 or 40 bucks at most would be borderline reasonable. Although I really like the function

I picked up one of those on craigslist a little while ago, I also picked up a pair of these



They are sound wedges from Vertically Driven Products. They fit between the wheel well and the roll bar. I also got them used on Craigslist and I like them much better than the pod in front of the shifter.

Thanks elwood. I actually already have the vdp wedges. I found them on cl for a relatively reasonable price and painted them with sema spray paint to match the color I painted my hard top.

i just want front speakers too

i've never seen em anywhere for less than $60 but you might get lucky and find em on cl. i've been lookin at em to. i got a little creative with mine, i got some small ammo cans and 6x9 speakers and put em up under my seat with zip ties, you can't even see em, and they don't get wet.

What if you have a close call with a Semi and Pee your pants???

not even then the speakers are facing down and the top of the ammo cans are sealed

unless you want to build your own, I would say that isn't too bad of a price.

You know, If I was around a little more often I probably would've remembered that, because I do kind of remember the hard top spray paint and how good it turned out.

Anyway, originally I looked at getting marine speakers to mount up under the dash, something like these;

But even these run $50 or more, so unless you want to keep watching craigslist and ebay, or go the cheapjeep way and build your own, you may end up spending the dough.
