Has anyone used the company Classic2Current Fabrication for any parts? I was thinking of ordering from them, they use 18 gauge steel for the floor panels and make them in there shop. Pieces range from 30-50 dollars for each part. They are located in Detroit MI

I have heard of them but I have never bought anything from them. A friend did and I don't think he was too happy with what he got. I guess it was made of 22 or 20 gauge, not to sure. I can ask him for more details if you want more info.

I know this is an older thread, but I was wondering how you liked the floor pans. I just got mine in the mail this week and they are 18ga. Got any pics of your finished product?

I did. And although I haven't installed them yet, they look like they line up pretty good. I think they may have pulled the wrong pan on yours. They definately did not look right.

That don't look to bad. Mine was in real bad shape. I drilled out all the old spot welds and had some fitment issues but all in all I am not disappointed with thier floor pans. Mine is also a 73 that was ran hard and put away wet.

Ugh! Those were the panels the PO pop-riveted into place on my old tub! No rust treatment... Just pop-rivets... Idiot

I opted for a newer tub.

Good luck :) :notworthy:

yeah not so fun should be welding back in soon. some one put plates on top of old floor and it rusted from the top down. the webin gunerthe pannel was in great shape. that the passenger side still have the drivers to do.:(
