CJ-6 with Perkins engine

I could use some help with this serial number. 57748 24077 it is a very rusted out CJ6 and it looks like the factory Perkins Diesel engine is still installed. The ad states the engine turns over but won't start... but for $700.00 OBO

Can anyone help me with this serial number? It would be a great project if the Perkins Diesel engine was installed at the factory. It is a major project but how cool would it be to have a CJ6 with a factory Perkins Diesel engine.

I tried to rt click and drag the page I got the info from but it wouldn't go for me. Anyways, what I came up with is a std CJ6 with a F 134 from the factory. HTH

Thanks for checking Hole. I was able to locate a sheet that showed that VIN and I came up with the same info. Thanks again.
