- 83 CJ7 350 tbi, TH350, D300 twin sticked & clocked, narrowed Chief D44 Eaton Elocker & Moser shafts, Explorer 8.8 Detroit locker, 410's, RE 4.5" spring lift 1" body lift, 35" Claws, cage tied to frame, Corbeau baja seats, HD tie rod and draglink, u-bolts flipped, custom skid plate and sliders, Warn 9.5ti winch with Amsteel synthetic line
The biggest thing is to get the wireing harness from the cherokee.

I have the complete jeep cherokee with the motor in it running.
Will it bolt up to the old cj,are the motor mounts in the same place??
And what about the bell housing,will bolt up to the three speed thats in their.
I know I have a lot of other question,but all in all,is this worth it?
I can buy the jeep for $1300,body looks good with no rust throw the floor,hard top,some other little problems,but I have the motor here for free to put in it.
Do you anyone that did this same thing?

- 79 cj7 with 93 4.0 fuel injection &automatic trans
Hey man I'm really interested in what you have going on cause I've got a 79 CJ7 and wanting to put a 93 Cherokee 4.0 high output and aw4 Transmission in I've got complete vehicles and wiring diagrams but my prob is the Transfer Case so I would like to know what if anything you have figured out

- 1980 Cj5, 350 chevy (i built myself), T176, Dana 300, stock narrow trac 3.54 axles, locked in the rear, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering, Warn lockouts, 31x10.50x15 AT's, hi lift jack mounted on the front, bed lined tub, firestick cb setup, 5 in hella lights, NO RUST!!
anything can be done 
that is with enough money. if the 79 your looking at already has the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l I6 then the job will be alot less complicated. i know its a pretty common swap. hopfully somone will chime in that can tell you what flywheel and clutch to use and if the motor mounts are in the same spot
