CJ7 Hard door replacement window

I have a cracked slider glass on my Cj hard door. Its the one that slides.
Any tips on removing and replacing the glass?
Ive taken the frame out, but I do not see how to get the glass out.

Any help is greatly appreciated

You must have aftermarket doors on your Jeep so if you could post some pics I might be able to help you out.

Yes they are aftermarket(or so I was told). Ive never seen the lower window before.

So after looking at your pics it looks like there is a trim ring around the inside that is screwed on that has a split at the front. you should be able to pull that ring off then the outer part with the glass needs to be removed from the door. It will have some sort of sealer between the frame and door that will make it tough to remove it. The best way I have found is to take a hard putty knife and push it in there and gently pry the frame from the door. Once you get it apart you should see how to get the glass out.

I actually already did all of that. It was quite easy. I just don't see another way to open it again to get the glass out.

Then post pics of the frame out of the door. And I mean from the side that buts up to the door.

You are right. If it is screwed to the frame remove it and that should let you open it up enough to get the glass out. then when you go to a glass shop to get a new one see if they can get a temperd one made for you it will hold up better.
