We have several rides. But our newest is a 1975 Cj6 we are restoring for my 14 year old son. It will be ready for him when he turns 16.
Hello, I'm looking to put a Newer style (CJ7 ) panel in a 1975 CJ5 /6. I want arrange the heater control knobs vertical to the left of the speedo. I would just copy that of a CJ7 . I don't mind buying the newer style indicators, pull knob & cables. Would all the cables work with my heater & fresh air vent? I'm sure somebody has tried this before, As you can see the cables and controls were mounted on the bottom panel. What would be the obstacles? The first 3 photos in white is our panel. I'm planning on using a custom panel similar the orange and yellow ones. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Ken

I can't answer your question but I am very interested in where someone can get one of those custom angled covers. I have a later model CJ7 and would love to have it and it would cover the radio cutout, etc.
