cj7 rollbar-does it fit a 1994 yj tub?

Hi, I have a 1986 CJ7 with a 1994 yj tub. I would like to change the rollbar to the cj style. Does anyone know if it would fit off hand? Thanks, Mark

That's funny. I have an early YJ roll bar in my fiberglass CJ tub. I'd say that means they're interchangable.

I changed my rusty CJ7 tub with a YJ and didnt have any problems bolting the CJ rollbar in.

I just picked up a 95 family style roll bar and it's a direct fit. I was told the 92-95 yj roll bar fits all CJ7 's.

I have the 1987-1992 YJ roll bar in my CJ. It looks a lot like the stock CJ roll bar except it has the holes for installing bars that connect it to the windshield frame. Jeep didn't go Family Style until 1992.

Is it just me, or does does all this talk about going "Family Style" sound a little weird? Reminds me of the movie Idiocracy!
