Clutch difference?

So what is the differences / advantages or disadvantages of diaphram / three finger style pressure plates

Diaphram will give a nice smooth shift but not great holding power under stress.
The 3 finger design (borg & beck) gives greater holding power but firmer shift.
Then the final design long finger type mainly used in drag racing or high HP applications.
