a few days ago someone had a source for a clutch rod with heim bearings on the ends to replace that retarded bent rod it came with. I built mine but have a mechanically challenged friend that is replacing his bellcrank assy and this would be a good move him.
If someone could remember where that came from I would greatly appriceate the link. As usual I will speak kindly of you to folks you don't know even when you are not around.:D

Will that stuff work on pre 76?

I suppose I could just buy the heim joints and weld them on

you can buy the heim joints with female threads, just weld a suitable bolt on the end of the rob and thread the bearing on with a lock not. this gives you about 3/4 inch of adjustment in length.

Pre 76 have a straight rod. Get a new rod and thread it with a die. Then use female heim joints. You really don't want a weld to break on that rod.
