help I am starting a build on a 77 CJ5 it has had the frame blasted and painted and all mounting brakets removed and didnt come with it and i can not figure out were to mount the clutch braket not even sure what the mount looks like
1979 Jeep CJ5 with 304 V8, T18 Transmission, Dana 20 Transfer case with TeraLow 3:1 gears, 4.88 axle gears, Detroit Locker up front and Ox Locker in back with 1 piece axle shafts, 36" SuperSwamper SX Tires, Shackle reversal, MileMarker Hydraulic winch, MSD 6A ignition.
Part 7 goes from the clutch pedal to the linkage part #1.
Part 1 is held in place with Part 14 (mounted on the inner firewall).
Part 1 is also held in place with Part 5 (mounted to the bellhousing).
As part 1 rotates it pushes on part 2 and 4. That is what pushes the clutch fork (part 3).
I am guessing the main issue is mounting parts 14 and 5 so part 1 can rotate.
I hope this helps.
