Coolant Leak??

so i look under my hood today and it seems i have a little trickle of coolant down my block, which seems tobe coming from my front most manifold bolt? has anyone got any ideas? i can see the coolant bubbling around the bolt/washer??

Dan, thats pretty close to the water pump, so some further investigation might be required.

Dan,

Sounds like a bolt / stud that goes into the water jacket area of the manifold / block where there is pressurized coolant behind it and is either not fully tight or properly sealed.

You could try some stop leak.

How long ago was the rebuild?

i did it in december....so its a good thing i still have the old motor at the shop...pulled the stud out to find it indeed goes in to the same water jacket that the front head bolt does, so monday after work i'm gonna removed and put some teflon sealer on it...i believe this should do it, will post my findings. tks for the reply

ok, i used some mopar thread sealant w/ teflon on the bolt, torqued down....All seems good so far
