1971 cj5 renegade 2 paint code 999 trim 340. Big bad orange, 225 odd fire, t86aa 3 speed,Dana 18 single stick, dana 44 off set rear, dana 27 off set front, 4.89, Koenig pto, koenig pto winch. Production date May 1971
Looking to see if any other ring and pinion from a Dana 30 or 25 would fit into a 27a? Looking on rock auto for it and no luck. Check other years of jeeps and only come up with stuff for a 30 or 44. I have a 1971 CJ5 225 oddfire, 27a , 44 off center rear. If anyone knows a gear set that would work I would be thankful. Reason for changing out is I have 4.88s in it now on 31/10.5/15s not much top end. Looking to go to go to a smaller 235/75/15. Thanks for any input. Looking to go down to a 3.73.""""
