Can anyone tell me type of thread that is in the diff housing for the breather barb. Mine had a 90 degree bend in it and was stuffed in the hole. I would bet right from the factory because the nintey would not allow it to be thearded in. Were to source one is the next question.

I think they were pressed in and hard to find other than a JY or dealer. I would just tap it and pick up a nipple from a hardware store. Maybe 1/4"? I did that to my rear when I relocated it after turning diff up for SOA.

I used a 1/8"NPT tap. Took the diff cover off and caught all the metal chips. The style, straight or 90, is up to you. I used a 1/4" hose.

I might get lucky the parts store has some in stock.The threads in the diff should still be all right. Hate to rip off the freshly done diff cover gasket onless I have to.
