I stumbled across some early full steel doors this weekend and picked them up. SO much better shape than the YJ doors I picked up months ago. I am excited to have the doors that match my early CJ7 .

so it is my understanding that the strike plates are virtually non-existant. Has anyone fabbed some up themselves? I am just looking at some flat stock cut down to fit right? If so, what thickness, etc..?

Any pics of the strike plate installed on an early tub? Thanks!
