So I'm new to the jeep world and with a purchase of an 84 CJ7 4cyc 4 speed 4x4 I was brought in. My question now is the I'm guesssing "front pipe" which leads from the manifold to the cat, where to find it and for cheap? I Found a catback for $100 but that "front pipe" was $AMC 150 , why so much? Any tips, sites, or any information would be greatly appreciated.

The cost is because it is rare. A good exhaust shop can make you one for less money.

My hometown muffler shop made me a custom down pipe for $20.
