f-134 rebuild, help ??

looking for engine rebuild steps for my 1970 f-134 jeep engine. i have a manual but it is not very good at the step by step install of parts. i tore this engine down about 6 months ago and i dont want to forget anything when reassembeling. any links to pics would be very helpfull.

Do you have the factory service manual from Jeep? I just reviewed mine and it is very in depth, I doubt you will find anything better.

I can't help you with any link but I have a friend that is rebuilding an F-134 as we speak. I will mention this to him and see what he may have available to help you.

i have a cheap autozone hanes manual. it is ok but not indepth.
it says to put the crank in first(after the cam and lifters) and then the pistons and rods. this wont work the rod jourals ar larger than the bore, the pistons and rods came out the bottom not the top(this is the first engine i have been into that came apart that way) i would like to see the correct assembly secquence in a manual.
