Today after i put gas in my car and drove away, my gas cap fell off somewhere!!! the whole assembly looks like its been demolished so i was wondering what i need to take apart to get the filler neck housing and the filler neck off? Do i have to drop the whole tank or is there an easier way?

You don't have to drop your tank. I just replaced mine and it took me about 1/2 hr. Just used a screw driver and nut driver.

Sweet. Thanks all i wanted to know...i pulled all the screws that were in it and when i tried pulling it out it wasnt coming out. Is there a clamp or something else holding it down?
