What gasket sealant would be best for rebuilding a manual Transmission ? Permatex green, silicone RTV, or something else?
 
Permatex Ultra Gray
 
black or grey permatex
 
Locktight 515 gasket eliminator.:cool:
 
I used the stock gaskets with the rebuild kit and used spray gasket to givem a little tack to help hold them in place and seal imperfections. Also used threadsealer on the bolts that pass into the Transmission and Transfer Case where the fluid is.
