The late model YJ (I think 94-95?) have with a longer upper door hinge, like a couple inches longer. It helps distribute the load a bit better. Earlier YJ had the same as CJ. Other than that, I don't know how to tell a late CJ and earlier YJ hard door apart. However, I do see in your pics what looks like mounting holes for mirrors on the door. That would suggest YJ to me. Perhaps someone can confirm?

I too sold my hard top and doors when I first got my current rig. Put that money into the new drivetrain. Unfortunately not a straight trade, but it sure helped. I prefer the soft top and doors for ease of on/off and to carry if needed for surprise weather while out.
I'm keeping the top, like the look. But the doors got to go, these things must weight 100lbs. Anybody know if the two piece soft doors work on a hard top, or too loose fitting? Need something to keep the dog from falling out.
