have to change flywheel .......help

I need to replace the flywheel.Is there any way to do this and not drop the tranny to the ground?Like slide it back

tranny jack to support it (recommended), hang it from straps or chains (do at your own risk!!!! SAFELY). either way you gotta unbolt it, remove the driveshafts, and the shifter, after all that, it would be just as easy to pull it out and have more room to work on the back of the motor.

Trying to keep from taking the skid plate out.I have a bike jack and we let air out of tires to get it to line up better.Last time we took the tranny out had to jack up teh tranny to stab it the do it again to get the skid plate up.

got it changed today.took about 4 hrs.Dropped the tranny couldnt just slide it back.Would have took less time but I had to hunt my line up tool down
