I'm going with the Howell fuel injection emission compliant. I need to replace the Y-pipe and I believe my exhaust leak is coming form the worn out heat riser. I've already replaced the donuts and gaskets, leak is still there. Do I need a heat riser to mate the new Y-pipe to the exhaust manifold or will there be enough "play" without the 2" riser?
Thank you.
