HEI for oddfire 225 v6?

After some research, it appears the HEI distributor I picked up for the jeep is actually for an even fire. What all is the difference between oddfire and evenfire HEIs? Im sure its not as easy as just getting an oddfire cap...

Sweet,

Nope its all about the breaker lobes inside the distributor. If yours has evenly spaced lobes its and even fire and if there not even its an oddfire.
I'm not sure if the parts interchange or even if there available ...........may have to get a new one.
