Help!!

I am looking to fix the speedometer gear for a 71 AMC Renagade CJ5 W/ a Dauntless Buick 225 V6 , 3 speed W/ an Overdrive . The speedo gear is located on the side of the tranny. First, whats the proper name "haha" and does anyone know where I can find one. Thx for any advice.

I assume you are running D18 or Dana 20 Transfer Case if so try parts mike that is where I got mine. Welcome to PartsMike™ Online

I mean stock you have a d18 and a T-14 behind that jeep, but we cannot be for sure

It's not on the side of the tranny it's on the back of the Dana 18 Transferecase. It's a steel gear these are hard to find now.
