The :censored: power distribution to my part of town is so damn unreliable!

It's raining and the damn power just went out! It's just rain, not even a bunch of wind or anything. That has already come and gone...

I wonder how long it will be out this time?

I've got a generator...:)

Thanks guys! I got the electricity as I now have power!

Freeken clowns!!!

We used to live in a house that was like that, wind blew the wrong way and no power for hours. gotta love it. Glad to hear you got yours back on.

I have found the best way to guarantee that the power will never go down, is to have a well running, fully fueled generator sitting at the ready "just in case".
Did that this year since I was out of town a bunch, and even during the high winds and storms we had this winter, power never flickered at our house...

It really sucks some times, I look out my window and the houses on the other side of the street have power! When the last hurricane brushed us, my side of the street was without power for three days, the houses across the street were lit up nicely..

Doesn't work for me... I have a generator all ready to go but it never seems to appease the 'power gods'...

Damn storms! Power is out again! I think I'll walk across the street to my neighbors and watch TV...

Well, at least my UPS keeps my internet connection up!

Automatic-natural gas-generator.

I live on an island and our power comes across the bay on tall electrical trestles. Whenever we have bad weather issues, high winds, icing, etc... the power fluctuates, the light bulbs get dim and then glow real bright ! ! !

If the lines get to flappin so much that they hit each other the power then goes out to the island ..........

See, there is a price to pay for livin in tropical paradise .............

Paradise???....sounds more like Texas.

Major thunderstorm here right now. Im getting off of the cp. Satelite tv was gone right after the race.

That was freakish. It was pitch black and now the sun is shining. Were on the outer edge of the storm I guess. They were talking about hurricanes in close by counties.
