Ignition locked. Please help!!!

I finally got her running pretty darn well, came home, and parked. A friend of mine happened to be outside to see my new jeep, and was telling me about the ignition (key) lock. Me, being the "hey, that sounds cool. I didn't know about that feature!!!" type of guy, decides to try it out. Well, it worked. TOO well. She doesn't need a key to start up, though I do have one. The problem is, that the key I have either isn't right, or the lock doesn't unlock. Can anyone tell me how to get around this problem (and please don't let it be a case of having to pull the wheel off).

I have to get to an appointment at the DMV today in about an hour, so if anyone can help me asap, I'll owe you a beer on the beach!

did you try to rock the steering wheel while you are turning the key?


And it might help if you did the chicken dance before you jump in the seat. Of course we will need video for that part!

Hahahaha. Well, I usually do the hokey pokey. Maybe that's the problem? Figured it out though. It was the wrong key. I grabbed the haynes manual and some tools, ready to take it apart, but on my way out of the door I grabbed the second key that came with her. THAT is the appropriate key apparently. The keys don't match. Got her unlocked now though, so all is well. I know everyone was worried, but the crisis has been averted.
