has anyone used the lokar kickdown cable and throttle linkage? i recently purchased one as i had no linkage when i got the jeep.

Shouldn't it just bolt up where the original auto kick down should go? Never worked on an auto CJ so this is just my observation.

I have the Lokar throttle cable, but no kickdown cable...I'm pretty satisfied with it. Whats your question?

i just wanted to see if it was as good or better than the factory linkage type setup. i have been combing junkyards all over this area and havent found any linkage, let alone anything older than 1990, so i just bit the bullet and bought the kickdown cable conversion and linkage adapter for the carb.

well, got the cable installed and it went easy. no problems. just cant drive it yet. well, not legally. unregistered. might have to make a test blast to see what its like
