I am putting in a new heater switch and can't get the knob off. What's the secret please.

Does your new switch have a knob on it? Because the black plastic knobs are molded on to the ends switches and cables, you have to cut them off. I used a razor knife and a pair of needle nose locking channel locks.

I think you just need to pull harder on the switch knob.
the cables are molded on but I think the wiper switch and heater switch are pull off.:chug:

Thank you. Now I have a good reason to order the new knobs I wanted.

some have set screws
