Levis Material - Austin Jeeps Alternative

Hi,
I am sure i have seen loads of posts about this before but when i Search for levis material I only get one thread.

Anyway my question is, 'is there an alternative to Austin Jeeps for Levis material.' Their price is 10x the normal price for standard material. I realise this is not standard material but I would have through 5x the price of regular material would have been enough.

Do they have a monopoly on the material. I'm sure they get it manufactured somewhere that would be willing to sell it to other suppliers also.

Please note they are not doing anything wrong, I'm just wondering if there are other suppliers.

I have an upholstery shop in No. CA. and if you can call Keystone Bros.(material is stocked in Phoenix AZ. 800-538-3848) and ask them for a sample of their Vibe TVI-004 Bombay Blue (light Levi (Edition) colored) or Vibe TVI-002 Ballpoint ( darker) I think you may like the match and price. ($26.00 yd) as opposed to $85.00
See if it matches. I don't have the Levi (Edition) match-up material here so I can't say for sure but it looks like a match to me.

PS. No vinyl worth anything is going to cost only $10. yd. Those days are gone for good. $25.00 - $30.00 is standard now. But $85.00 is gouging, in my book.

I had just sent off an email to Bestop earlier today, asking a similar question. If they still produce anything in it anymore, or if they don't might they be able to direct me somewhere that does. If they get back to me with anything positive I'll post it here.

Thanks guys much appreciate the input. Ive heard people praise your work on here stich so appreciate you stepping in. am actually looking the brown Levi (Edition) material but I might order some of the blue also as I have a blue interior cj also. its non Levi (Edition) as it was year they lost the levis contract.

Let me know if u know of a brown Levi (Edition) alternative.

I don't have the sample book in front of me but if you call Keyston, they can send you samples of that too. Remember, not exact match but hardly anyone would notice.

Same trouble here. Need the blue fabric or a Levi (Edition) dashpad and the two front seats. Not to forget...the soft top.
Can anyone help? Everything is hard to find.....
