I'm looking for the following items to complete my AMC 304 swap before I purchased new.

Bellhousing for Ford T-18 for V8
T-18 to Dana 300 adaptor
AMC304 alum. intake
V8 motor mounts
Q-Jet or Holley Truck Advanger carb

I have a amc-360 to fsj t-18b bell housing. Would that work for what you need.

I'm not sure. I have a T-18 from a Ford. I think the jeep T-18 and Ford T-18 take different bell housings and not sure the AMC V8's are interchangeable. I will find out though...

Well I'm completely confused. I have no idea if the bell housing you have will work with my set up. If I understand remotely what I just read the last half hour the AMC 360 bell housing that adapt the Jeep T-18 will not work for the AMC 304 and Ford T-18 . The bolt pattern is different for a Jeep T-18 . I have also read that the T-4 bell housing I have now that is mated to the AMC 150 I have in the jeep will work if I drill a fourth hole. The same goes if I find the T-150 or T-176 bell housing. A fourth hole needs to be drilled and tapped.

I for one don't want to have to drill any holes or tap anything. I am looking for a direct bolt up. There is one out there but I just can't figure out which one it is.

I did find out that all the motors are interchangeable so the bell housing will mate to a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , AMC 304 , 360, 401 and another engine I can't remember what.

This is way to much BS for a simple swap I think...

I'm sure you don't want to go this route but they sell a T-18 short shaft kit for a fsj T-18 . I think you just swap out the input shaft and remove the spacer for the Transmission and bolt the amc bell housing right back up. I think I saw the kit for $200. I bet you can sell the ford T-18 for some decent cash and pick up he fsj T-18 and adapter with out costing you to much more money.

I would just give the folks at Novak a call and tell them what you have and are wanting to achieve. They will be able to advise which way you will have to go.:chug:
