Hi guys change my Transmission fluid with some gl4 gear lube from Napa. Checked the fluid level this week and the level is fine but the fluid has a bubbly milky look to it. Has anyone ever encountered this before?

I was playing in the snow a little but didn't think water got in it

The T-18 has a vent located on top of the tranny and you might want to make sure that there is a hose connected to it going up to the top of the firewall with a small check valve on the top end. Another point of entry for that tranny is where the shifter rod comes out and can be a limit for deep water crossings if not sealed properly. There are similar vents on the diffs and Transfer Case btw.

Condensation, is common issue.
Same thing will happen in your engine and gas tank.

Milky fluid is a good indication you got water in there.. As Torxhead pointed out, there is a breather on the T-18 which should have a hose. The breather is located at the top of the case, you should be able to access it through the tranny tunnel cover.
I personally don't like to use a check valve on vent lines for a very simple reason. As the case cools, it will create vacuum which can draw moisture and anything else through seals if pressure can't be equalized through the vent tube. If your vent line is located high enough (on the firewall), you shouldn't have an issue with water getting in there. I stuff a piece of cotton down my vent lines to act as a filter medium.
