MSD ignition box

Hey guys, Is it possible to fry a Msd ignition box by leaving the key on ? My jeep ran the other day, but will not fire after killing battery .Tried a different coil,but same results. It has the team rush upgrade.Checked all fuses which are fine. Seems to have spark to the distributor and wires but my be weak using a spark testing light. What else should I look at?

You might want to check the 2 fusible links located from the starter relay. One of them sends current to the icm, although I am not sure if the MSD unit uses those. You can always call MSD and tell them your issue.

pull up the site and get the test procedure it involves unplugging the distributer and pulling the coil wire from the dist, almost grounding the end to the block and shorting the two pins on the distributer plug. Be careful, mine will throw a blue spark about 1/2 inch and make one heck of a pop. If it seems to have spark what makes you suspect the MSD 6?
